Our Mission

Fraser Management Associates is committed to the application of a thematic-based, contrarian discipline of independent thinking to construct a concentrated portfolio of small to mid capitalization stocks. Our goal is to generate superior long-term investment results, and to provide a high level of client service, including clear and timely communication.

Firm Summary

Fraser Management Associates is an employee-owned independent investment management firm. Headquartered in Burlington, Vermont, we manage our equity portfolio primarily for clients of wealth managers, family and multi-family offices, and foundations and endowments. Investment management is our sole focus and passion. We apply the Theory of Contrary Opinion to the investment management process, and we stand apart from traditional money managers in many respects.

We are a boutique firm that provides responsive and personalized service. We are large enough to have the resources to effectively manage investment portfolios, and small enough so we have the capacity to ensure that every client will receive the attention they expect and deserve.

• Contrarian Philosophy: Our value is derived from our identification of overlooked and under-appreciated themes. We study human behavior, market psychology, and global and industry trends, applying our findings to the security selection process.
